# Legal and abuse

## The legal documents

All of them are on our website, in English, French and Dutch. The English version is the one that applies.

- [Terms of service](https://docsahoy.com/legal/terms): the agreement between us and your organisation, including what may not be published.
- [Privacy policy](https://docsahoy.com/legal/privacy): what we process about the people who use Docs Ahoy, and what we don't record about readers.
- [Data processing agreement](https://docsahoy.com/legal/dpa): for the personal data we process on your behalf.
- [Sub-processors](https://docsahoy.com/legal/sub-processors): the companies that store or process data for us, and where they are.
- [Imprint](https://docsahoy.com/legal/imprint): who we are.

## Accepting the data processing agreement

The person who creates a team accepts the terms and the data processing agreement for it at signup. When a new version of the agreement is published, an owner or admin accepts it in the app: **Data processing agreement** in the account menu. The screen records who accepted which version, and when.

## No US company

No US company stores or processes your data or your readers' data. The [sub-processor list](https://docsahoy.com/legal/sub-processors) names every company that does, and where the claim stops (for example the certificate authority that issues HTTPS certificates).

## Reporting abuse

If a site published with Docs Ahoy is phishing, spreads malware, or carries illegal content or content that infringes your rights, report it with the [abuse form](https://docsahoy.com/abuse). Every published page has a **Report abuse** link at the bottom that opens the form with that page's address filled in.

Reports reach our abuse inbox. When a report is credible, we can take a page or library offline, or suspend a team, as the terms of service describe.
